Message: Thanks Philip

My dilemma is that we have a VM ware server where the weblogic and the apex is running.

Then we have the database server which is a physical server.

Now, we want to move the apex, ords and th weblogic together with what was deployed there to the database server.

I am afraid using the VMware-converter might not work well for me as the database server already have other instances running there.

How can I achieve this task...?

Please help !!!!

Message: Hi,

don't look for some magic tool, you'll have to do it manually:

- install an setup ows
- install and setup ords
- install apex and migrate app from vm server to new one (refer to apex builder users's guide)

regards,
ales

Message: Thanks, guys I managed to get the packagge.

Now, I have to configure ORDS but since the Apex installation was done on the database.

The old environment is still running I want to configure the new environment but using the same or current database.

What would be the impact in the database if I run java -jar -Duser.timezone=SAST ords.war and provide the details of the currently being used database?

Please Help!!!

Thanks in advance...
