Message: Hi Guys

I want to unplug my database and plug it to a different container.

The two containers are on the same server.

Now, when I check if the unplugged PDB is compatible with the CDB...I get NO.

How do I see what is not compatible?

Thanks in advance...

Please Help!!!

Message: Thanks Guys

I found the logs, I am using the same software for both containers.

Do I need to patch containers separately?

The issue is resolved...

I had to run the ./datapatch -verbose...

But I had to close and reopen the pdb then run the ./datapatch

Then the issue was resolved...

Now, on source database the database is still shows mounted and on target is open.

When I try to connect to the database I get :

ERROR:
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

When I check the lsnrctl status my service name have two instances...

Is it safe to drop the pdb at the source...

NB I used the same datafiles from the source without changing the path.

Please help!!!!

Thanks in advance...

Message: Just to clear things ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied has nothing to do with the unplug and plug the database...

I created a new container and one pdb then created a user. But when I try to connect with that user I get ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied...

Please Help!!!

Thanks in advance...
